How Big Is God's Love?

Psalm 36:5-9 (NIV)

Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.

Your righeousness is like the mighty mountains,

your justice like the great deep.

O Lord, you preserve both man and beast.

How priceless is your unfailing love!

Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings.

They feast on the abundance of your house;

you give them drink from your river of delights.

For with you is the fountain of life;

in your light we see light.

  1. When I think of where I have traveled over the course of my life, not just widowhood, I see how big God has been in rescuing me out of dangerous situations, out of my own stupidity, lack of judgement, but mostly to pull me out of Satan's schemes for my life. My beloved 2nd husband was the gift my great, big God gave me to show me that He is all I need and that He can change a lost person, like me. God knew me; that I needed help to reach to the Savior. That is what my husband did for me. When we bought our wedding rings, I had his ring inscribed with our wedding date and the words "God's Gift" which I now wear everyday on my right thumb. It's a reminder that God gave me a beautiful gift in my beloved. Yes, God is big. Very big.
