Widow's Story: Praying In The Darkness

" “Is everybody happy?” the worship leader yelled, thrusting his fist skyward in a victory punch as the band struck up a cheery praise tune.

“Yeeeeesssss!” the congregation chorused back, rising to their feet and thundering their applause.

I felt like the lone party pooper in a crowd of carefree worshipers. No, I am decidedly not happy, I muttered under my breath. Does it matter? Do I have to be happy to worship God?
