God Understands

...All night long I flood my bed with weeping
and drench my couch with tears. Psalm 6:6

Have you ever wondered what the Bible says about tears and crying? I started looking up Bible verses using words like tears, cries, weeping... God has seen a lot of sorrow on this planet. I listed some verses for you today. May they help soothe and give you solace. You are loved, and you're not alone. 💗ferree

  1. So timely. A lady from church has just unexpectedly become a widow, (Mr. had a clean bill of health from the doc), and I'm working on a note to mail to her. I’d love to go visit but she's out of state with family. However, I’ll share some of these verses in my note.

Must admit that I’m having a hard time with those who are saying, "Well at least "Mr." is in heaven." I remind myself that they aren't widows, therefore they have a different perspective. Yes, it's wonderful that "Mr." was saved and is in heaven, but "Mrs." has a totally broken heart that needs to be comforted.
