Feeling Out-of-Place?

Hello everyone,

The weeks have flown by, but I'd love to catch up with you. A big "Thank You" to those who've checked in on me. I'm fine, I was a Census worker and that distracted me. Plus we're still looking for a house. It's been a 9-month search already and I'm and wondering if I actually belong anywhere! Can you relate?

This out-of-place feeling reminds me so much of widowhood. I'm remarried now, but most of my hours by myself. We're in a totally new town, and although we've been here since December, with Covid restrictions it's been beyond isolation. My closest kids are 500 miles away so we haven't seen them for over a year now. (I did get to see one daughter and her hubby for 2 days in March--I'm soooo thankful!!). But I know many of you are going through the same, with widowhood to boot!

Here's a video of a widow, Margi Stevens, in NY state. She gets it! I was privileged to speak with her back in June. If you are in the Rochester, NY area, I'm sure she'd love to have you show up at one of her monthly LOL (Lives Overcoming Loss) fellowship times! They meet the 3rd Sunday of each month.

Here's her website: Www.marjistevens.com
Here's where you can find all the contact information for the group fellowship: Lives Overcoming Loss

If you receive this email on your phone, click the title so you can come over here to my blog and view this meaningful video that Marji made. She's been there, she gets it, and she's encouraging.  ❤ ferree
