Thank you for your prayers

Tom came home from the hospital on Monday, August 29 and we are so grateful he is doing really well! He's still at home, still has bones to mend and sprained muscles to heal. His "road rash" was relatively light. His helmet and motorcycle fared better than he did but they show where his injuries could have been far worse. He's still in a lot of pain, but is getting better every day. Last night he (we) both almost slept through the night. Getting a good night's sleep will be a major milestone!

We've received such lovely cards and comments and they've been so uplifting and precious. Thank you very much! Thank you for praying, and please continue. I started back to my regular hours at the school library last week, but I still want to devote necessary time to Tom. And of course I want to be back in touch with you too, so please pray that I can find a good, reasonable and workable balance. In the meantime my posts here will continue to be rather sporadic, but I know you'll all understand.

Love to you,
ferree

  1. Of course, having you gone from your blog has seemed like an eternity, but I was startled to realize that Tom's accident was barely a month ago! So happy to read your good news--that he's doing well and you're back to working. Sure will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers.

    1. Thank you Susan, it's nice to be missed! And thank you for praying!:) Please tell your Naomi gang that Tom (and I) had big smiles on our faces when reading the card that they sent.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I am not always able to reply but your remarks mean a lot to me and will appear as soon as possible.
