My Verse for Today

February 15, 2000
The day life changed forever in an instant.
As I meditate on this verse today, there are two things that come to mind:
I know that my husband Bruce claims this verse and worships his Lord and Savior on this day.
And another thing I know, even though there are tears in my eyes as I type,
this verse is also solid and true:
O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?
Grief holds no power over me!

  2. I'm not sure why, but I ran across this verse today...

Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.

    1 Thessalonians 4:13

  4. Ferree, I did not catch this when I read this the first time that this is the anniversary of Bruce's death. As I remember it, February has both good remembrance dates and very difficult dates in it for you. ((Hugs)) for you for the difficult memory of this date fourteen years ago. <3 Thank you for using your experiences to bless and help widows. God bless you, dear sister.
