Rebuilding Your Life

Make 2013 the year to turn GO-ing through grief to GROW-ing through grief by following this blog and implementing R Roadmap.

I'm designing each day of the week to help you locate where you are in your grief journey and pinpoint a step you can take. So far I've described Mondays - Thursdays, and if you haven't already, just scroll down through the previous days this week to read the summaries.

Mondays: READ, listen, watch and learn about grief.
Tuesdays: RETELL your own story.
Wednesdays: Find a ROLEMODEL.
Thursdays: REFRAME your perspective.

On Fridays we'll look at practical ways to REBUILD your life.

Widowhood can affect a woman's life in every way possible---physically through stress, involuntary celibacy, insomnia, weight loss/weight gain, sometimes clinical depression, and lowered immunity. Single parenting is a huge challenge. And the emotional, spiritual, and financial effects require due diligence when she often feels very overwhelmed. Step by step we'll talk about all these different aspects and resources that are available. Don't expect to rebuild overnight, but just knowing that you now have the freedom to rebuild your life and move into the next chapter is a step in the right direction.

Check back with me tomorrow and I'll mention how you can use Saturdays to carve some margins in your weekend and optimize essential REST in the Lord. ferree
