Surviving the Holidays

Griefshare might have a "Surviving the Holidays" event right in your area! This is a two-hour seminar to help you deal with grief during the holiday season. A 40-minute video offers practical tips and suggestions from professional counsellors, a guided group discussion helps you know you're not alone, and you get to take home a Holiday Survival Guide with 30 days of continued support.
Visit Griefshare and enter your zipcode to find the event location closest to you. If you're anywhere near Dayton or Cincinnatti, you're welcome to come to my group on November 13!
Also, click here for helpful articles and stress-reducing holiday suggestions. I strongly encourage you to take advantage of this helpful website!

I'm grateful I have a job. Even though it takes up a lot of my time (I should have a bumper sticker that says I'd rather be blogging!), Washington-Centerville Public Library is a great place to work and I thank God for the opportunity!

Here are some tips for commenting:
Remember to click the Publish button when you are done.
Choosing the anonymous identity is easiest if you do not have your own blog.
Using a computer rather than a cell phone seems to work better. Thanks again!
