Here's another blog post about butterflies at My Widows Walk. Funny how I found it just when I wanted to introduce you to this ministry! I wonder if the butterflys are more than a coincidence for someone.
After you read the blog, read Christy's bio and how the Lord upheld her after her husband's suicide. Also on the site you'll find good articles and a link to a Christian psychologist with a grief support group. As we move along into 2011 I'll keep you posted for widow conferences they are planning--three possible location areas are Denver, Omaha (I think) and maybe Nashville. I hope to attend at least one of these and hope you can come, too!
For a quick overview of this ministry, you'll find Widows Walk listed on the "Christian Websites for Widows" tab at the top of this blog.
Thursday posts tell about help for widows. It might be an organization, book, or website. I hope that the Thursday page will become one of the most valuable parts of this blog as I collect perhaps little known, but faithful and essential, ministries to widows all over the country, maybe even the world! If you have benefitted from such a help, please let me know about it.
Follow God step by step today, even though it's hard to sometimes get the right foot in the right shoe. I know what that's like. Feel free to contact me if you ever need someone.
