The God Who Sees

Christmas is almost here... let me ask this tenderly... are you a widow who feels like this is not the happiest time of the year? For you, is it the loneliest time of the year?

Do the silver bells only echo in your empty heart? Do the "city sidewalks, busy sidewalks..." leave you standing alone in their coldness? Does anyone know? Does anyone care? Does anyone see? Do you matter anymore? Or are you just invisible...

A widow friend recently had a profound conversation with me about that word "Invisible." She had released the burden of it to the Lord and was standing free in this truth: God Sees Her. He knows. He cares. He loves us beyond all imagination, into the deepest reality.

Today is her birthday, so I wanted to share this video with her, and I know she'd love to share it with you: The God Who Sees.

Happy Birthday, my friend!
Merry Christmas to everyone!
May God meet you in the loneliest of places like He did for the people in this beautifully narrated song.
We are never invisible when we meet The God Who Sees.
