Selah

"Selah" is a word seen in some Bibles at the close of certain psalms. It's a call to pause and end the psalm with "selah" or "think on these things." Take a breath. Close your eyes. Let your mind stop racing ahead of itself.

I've given you a lot to think about this week so that you'll realize Valentine's Day can actually be used in a positive way instead of something to dread and want to run away from, although in the early seasons of grief you may need some help getting through it and that is nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, enlisting some help for that day might be a great step to take.

Why not take today and come up with one or two things you'd like to do over this weekend to put a "Selah" on your Valentine's weekend. No matter how big or how small, I think you'll find something just right for you, and it'll be meaningful to look back on. ❤ ferree
