Strength Of My Heart Music Video

On Saturdays I want to remind you to prepare your heart for a time of worship and rest on the weekend. God invites us over and over again to Rest in Him, and especially for widows to enter His rest, (Ruth 1:9).

As you listen to this music video today, you'll notice phrases from the song contained in the verses below---it's a very biblical song! I really enjoyed catching the phrases (in bold) and going to BibleGateway.com. When I got there I typed the words into the search box to find the verse in the New International Version (NIV), but you may select from any version; you might find that a real blessing too. I urge you to try it sometime. Until then, just listen in, and let God's rest minister to your spirit.

The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress Psalm 46:7

A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling Psalm 68:5

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. Psalm 61:3
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31
Selah, ferree
