Finding Rest At The Crossroads

Each weekend I encourage widows to take some time to rest. The body needs it, and so does the soul. Look about, ask for that which is wise and good. Follow the right path--the way of the Lord. That's where the yearning and grieving is resolved. The rest He gives will restore and renew.

. . . “Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls." . . .
Jeremiah 6:16

God is willing to intersect our lives---any time,
any where. This picture is what I call "Anytown, USA"
and it reminds me that the "crossroads" of Jeremiah 6:16
are right in our own backyard.

    1. May God grant you the desires of your heart, Lorraine. This verse spoke to me of my own crossroads, too. He will provide the path for us all. <3
