Finding Comfort In The Midst Of Grief

As you know, I'm always on the lookout for great resources and articles to pass along. I'm excited to share this excellent piece by a young widow, Sabrina Beasley, who's husband was killed in a head-on car accident, leaving her with a 2-year-old son and a 3-month-old baby daughter. In Finding Comfort in the Midst of Grief she outlines how the Bible helped her trust in God again and the course of action she used to get to that point even though she felt so wounded and raw.

Thanks for following your Shepherd, Sabrina; and thanks Family Life® for providing such a helpful ministry and remembering to include widows!

  1. Beautiful article! I love the analogy of a wounded lamb, even afraid of the Shepherd. I think that is the best description of the pain of fresh grief that I've ever heard. Thanks.
