Heartwarming!

Last year a new friend on Facebook, Kathy T. A., posted this as her profile picture. When I asked her about it, here's what she wrote back:
THIS IS SO COOL!! I SWEAR, it was NOT deliberate!!
I was outside shoveling, looking like Gorton's fisherman, feeling sorry for myself. Valentine's day stuff in the stores, I don't feel well, Don should be shoveling, I want a cigarette, I'm overweight, I miss him, miss him, miss him --- just have a pity party with a guest list of one....
And my neighbor pulled in -- and he had to pull up, back up, pull up, back up, to get in his driveway --- and in so doing, left this in front of my home!!!!! IT IS NOT STAGED
Kathy also wrote: Everyone should know that God is awesome, God completely "gets it" when we lose a spouse.

Now that's what I call A Hug From Above!
Hope this makes your day a little brighter--these hearts are for you!

  2. That is a precious hug from above. Today the sun is shining, and I'm taking that as my hug from Father. Thanks for sharing...

  3. Life is hard now in that God-are-you-really-here? way, and I checked WCP hoping the Friday Funny would cheer me up. This "warm fuzzy" was better than a funny! I love when the Lord touches us like this. The fact that Kathy noticed the two hearts is a special part of God's gift to her, too!
Reminds me of a day years ago when my walk across town was interrupted by a freight train that seemed as long as the Great Wall of China. I stood there waiting, waiting, waiting, sighing about how long and loud my problems seemed, feeling burdened and alone, when what chugged right before my eyes but a freight car with one HUGE word of spray-painted graffiti: Jesus! I smiled pretty big then and crossed those tracks no longer alone.

  4. I just loved this posting; just what you needed at the time you needed it; that is what God does - he is all knowing. This was so sweet - who could have "done" this on purpose ... but God!! Have a great weekend.
