I just read about this last night and my heart broke. What a tragedy especially for the mother who lost her husband and three of her sons.
ReplyDeleteThere are no words to express the deep sadness I feel for these women. I agree with Wendy - the Mom has been given a Job-like tragedy. I pray the Lord will dispatch His angels to surround these women and their families, encouraging them and comforting them.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kelly for alerting me to this news, and please, everyone keep this family in your prayers for the long run. The book "A Grace Disguised," which we'll discuss on Aug 26 is by a man who's was also hit be a drunk driver and his wife, daughter and mother were all killed. He and 3 of his children survived--an amazing account of what he calls a catastrophic loss, and probably a handbook for what this family will go through. May the Lord hold them close and provide strong help through their friends and church.
