I love the quote shared by Beth (above). Crying is a gift from God, which is obvious by the Scripture you've shared Ferree. Crying is a physiological cleansing. If you've ever wondered why you feel better "after a good cry", you've experienced the Gift. For me, a good cry is a wailing into a pillow, usually ending just after it seems there are no more tears to be shed. I sit up, take a deep breath, and say, "thank you".
